Donna M. Mitchell, MBA, LCPC
Ms. Mitchell provides counseling to clients through individual and group sessions to assist them in healing from grief, trauma, substance abuse, physical abuse, PTSD, depression and anxiety. She is an accomplished and dedicated mental health therapist, experienced in utilizing clinical skills to serve diverse populations with a range of mental health needs and behavioral issues. She provides psychotherapy, psycho-education and support to individuals and families seeking mental health services from the ages of 3-60 years old. Therapies include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), In-VIVO Therapy, Solution-Focused and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Ms. Mitchell also provides family training on such topics as effective parenting, signs of suicide, and life skills for all family members.
She has served as the Chief Financial Officer of a Physicians Hospital Organization (PHO) where her duties included preparation of the annual operating and medical budgets. She provided analysis of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial rates to ensure adequate revenue to support anticipated claims, as well as the development of annual Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial fee schedules.
Ms. Mitchell also possesses experience in Federal Government financial management, compliance, quality control/assurance, accounting, contracts management, auditing, strategic planning, and management consulting. Her business endeavors include fiscal oversight, project management, financial modeling, due diligence, and managed care financial analysis. Her client experiences include focused compliance services covering complex operational, program and accounting operations, payroll and vendor transactions and reporting, including testing for compliance with various state and federal laws and regulations. She has helped businesses and agencies to adopt best practices and process/cost efficiencies. She possesses significant supervisory and operational experience, serving as chief financial officer/consultant supporting businesses in various industries, as well as strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, effective leadership and team building. Devuynne Stevenson, LCPC
Ms. Devynne Stevenson is a board-certified Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Supervisor with a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. Ms. Stevenson has experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with a spectrum of mental health issues. She has specialized experience with individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses such as Major depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia, which has aided Her with the expertise and knowledge to effectively treat disorders that may be attributed to trauma and stress-related issues. Ms. Stevenson doesn't subscribe to a "one size fits all" treatment modality which gives her the ability to meet each individual client where they are in their respective journey towards life enhancement. She likes to use various treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered approach, and motivational interviewing, just to name a few. In her spare time, she enjoys physical fitness and painting, which she uses as her own form of therapy. She understands the need for self-care and is passionate about spreading positivity energy to those that she connects with. All in all, those who are open to seeking treatment are in good hands with Ms. Stevenson because she is called to be a true helper and takes pride in being a part of her client's growth and progression.
Ryan Tracy, LCPC
Mr. Ryan Tracy is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience in counseling adolescents, adults, and families. In 2001, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy at the University of Delaware; and in 2009, he completed his Master of Science in Counseling at the Johns Hopkins University. He has experience in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, grief, and trauma. His therapeutic approach is largely person-centered, though he often draws on the theories and techniques of various other psychotherapies (e.g. cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, and Gestalt), so as to best meet the needs of clients.
